At First Nations and Pacific Islands Care, we provide a range of NDIS and auxiliary services designed to provide excellent and accessible support for the First Nations and multicultural communities in the Northern Territory. Through our background and lived experiences, we are able to offer the best support for people who are vulnerable and require holistic care.
Community Access
Community access services are very important in assisting people reintegrate into society and engage in social functions to the fullest. We offer both home and community assistance for socially vulnerable people. Our aim is to support you to reconnect relationships and participate more strongly in social circles so you can live a more fulfilling life.
Daily Living Tasks

Daily living skills are essential in an independent, social and day to day life of an individual. We help those who may have challenges in the development of these skills due to various reasons.  Our team can assist with:

  • Meal preparation
  • Personal hygiene
  • Home maintenance
  • Money management
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Mobility
  • Education and employment
  • Toileting
  • Laundry
  • Home safety
  • Health and medication management
  • Socialising and recreation
Supported Independent Living (SIL)

SIL is a type of support funded through the NDIS to help you achieve the highest level of independence whilst developing your skills at the same time. SIL is available for people with varying support needs who need support at home all the time. We offer support in specially designed shared housing for people with disabilities or in your own home. Our support workers can help with:

  • Personal care
  • Cooking meals
  • Cleaning the house
  • Building on your social skills
  • Attending medical appointments
  • Getting to and from daily activities
Transport
Reliable transportation is a must when accessing community activities, appointments, and other daily tasks. Getting around is a priority for people to live their lives autonomously so we provide safe and efficient transport to help take you where you need to go. Whether it is going to a doctor’s appointment or engaging in a community activity or any errands, our team is always ready to help.
Skills Development
Developing new skills can go a long way to improve your independence and overall well being. We offer a range of skills development programs for our participants to choose from, including learning new hobbies, improving your job skills, or gaining more confidence in daily activities.
Respite
Taking care of a loved one can be rewarding but also challenging. Our respite services are designed to offer temporary relief for primary caregivers, allowing you to take a break while ensuring your loved one is in safe hands. We offer flexible respite options from a few hours to several days.
Non NDIS Services

We also offer a range of non NDIS services designed to help all individuals who are looking for further assistance in other areas of their lives. A few of our additional services include:
